Villa Praiola - Exclusive seafacing mansion with pool and Jacuzzi

Fantastic holiday for 2 families sharing

Pro: The property holds brilliant views of the sea and Mt Etna. Plenty of outdoor space with terrace, covered barbecue area, hot tub and large swimming pool, table tennis table and surrounded by citrus trees. Plenty of space inside and all of the equipment needed. It was delightful meeting the hosts who were incredibly friendly. The welcome (massive) bowl of fruit a fabulously stocked drinks fridge and store cupboard had plenty to keep us going before we went to the nearby supermarket. For our two families (kids aged 16, 16, 14 and 6) this was ideal. Thank you so much for our fabulous stay.

Excelent villa

Pro: The villa was absolutely perfect — even better than in the photos! The pool and jacuzzi were amazing, and the garden was simply beautiful. The area is great, quiet and convenient at the same time. The owner was very kind and helpful, and there was also a cleaning service, which made our stay even more comfortable. We had an unforgettable time and would definitely love to come back!

A perfect family holiday

Pro: This is superb villa with a wonderful pool and jacuzzi. We were a family of 6 plus two young children and the accommodation was perfect. The hosts are very responsive and kindly left us fruit and waters when we arrived. The kitchen is superbly equipped and there is plenty of room in the house. There are several eating areas, on the terrace or by the BBQ. The grounds are extensive with plenty of room to park several cars. The attractive towns of Taormina and Syracuse are both worth visiting and off course Etna is very close to explore.

Contro: Liked everything

We’re already thinking about when to come back.

Pro: We enjoyed the large garden with trees (including citrus trees) and a pool and jacuzzi. One could stay under the sun or hide in shade. There is a ping pong table, sun loungers, and pool towels available, as well as a shower and toilet by the pool. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. In general, in the villa there is everything what you need for a daily use. There are many bedrooms to choose from, each with air conditioning/heating. Every room has its own bathroom with a bidet. During meals on the terrace, we could enjoy views of Etna or the sea (a good neck workout guaranteed :) ). It's a perfect location for families with kids. The hosts were very nice and helpful.

Contro: This is a matter of personal preference, but for us the mattresses were too soft (at least in the light green room). In addition, the mattress covers or sheets were not breathable enough, causing the skin in contact with the mattress to overheat or sweat (with the room temperature around 18 degrees Celsius at night, in mid-April). For hygienic reasons, we would also have preferred a duvet with a full cover, rather than a separate uncovered duvet with a bed sheet underneath.

Stunning villa for bigger groups with superb views to Etna.

Pro: Spacious villa with well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, stunning views of Etna, the sea and surrounding countryside, large pool and jacuzzi, separate dining area with BBQ, air conditioning, bathroom and pool towels, gated entrance, ample parking, proximity to supermarket, local restaurants, bakery, vineyards and good access to the motorway (less than 1 hour from Catania airport and Taormina).

Contro: stair access to the villa could be problematic for children and less able adults, chairs (dining, pool and lounge) not very comfortable

Pro: Tolle Terrasse mit Blick auf Etna und aufs Meer. Vermieter sehr freundlich ein Obstkorb stand bereit. Gute Ausstattung, bequeme Betten. Großer Pool, Probleme mit Jacuzzi wurden sofort behoben.

Contro: Der in der Nähe liegende Strand ist felsig und nicht zum Baden geeignet.

Pro: Tolle Gastgeber, Villa war authentisch und wunderschön. Großes Grundstück, Pool, Tischtennis, Grill, Jacuzzi, alles da.

Une très belle expérience à deux pas de l’Etna.

Pro: Nous voulions une maison au calme et suffisamment grande pour nous 8 (3 couples et 2 enfants) : elle est exactement ce qu’on voulait ! Grandes chambres avec salle de bain et toilettes, piscine, jacuzzi, cuisine toute équipée, belle pièce de vie, terrasse. Vera et son mari (et leur fils) sont des hôtes très gentils , accueillants, toujours disponibles.

Contro: Il ne manque qu’un grille-pain (ou on ne l’a pas trouvé)

Pro: Вилла как будто с историей.Очень семейная,прекрасные виды,чудесный сад и вид на Этну с одной стороны и море с другой.

Contro: Отсутствие некоторых гигиенических средств,как палочки для ушей и недостаточно геля для душа.

Einfach nur toll!

Pro: Eine absolut tolle Villa. Super Ausstattung. Bei der Ankunft war die Kühlschrank von der Vermieterin für lau gefüllt und ein reichhaltiger Obstkorb stand auf den Tisch. Auch ansonsten super nette Vermieter.

Contro: Einziger kleiner Nachteil ist, dass eines der vier Schlafzimmer nur Einzelbetten hat und über eine Wendeltreppe zu erreichen ist
