Villa Capriccio

Pro: Casa molto bella, spaziosa, con un terrazzo magnifico, pulitissima, all'interno non manca niente. Proprietaria gentilissima e disponibile. Possibilità di parcheggiare l'auto nel cortile interno.

Contro: La casa si trova nella zona del Parco del Simeto, che rappresenta sicuramente un valore aggiunto per il contesto naturale e la vicinanza al mare. Tuttavia, l’area circostante ci ha lasciati un po’ perplessi: pur essendo recintata, non risulta particolarmente curata né omogenea. Si alternano infatti abitazioni molto belle ad altre visibilmente abbandonate o in stato di degrado, creando purtroppo una sensazione generale di poca uniformità.

Pro: Bellissima villa fronte mare, in zona tranquilla, pulizia impeccabile, la struttura è fornita di tutti i servizi principali e forse anche di più, i proprietari Salvo e Graziella persone splendide, mi hanno fatto sentire a casa oltre che a darmi molti consigli utili per muoversi in zona. Peccato aver soggiornato per un breve periodo spero di tornare al più presto.

Ottima vacanza

Pro: All'interno della riserva naturale del Simeto. Splendida per accesso in spiaggia e spazi esterni. I proprietari sono molto affabili e pronti ad aiutarvi in ogni bisogno. Consiglio a chi interessa Mare e visita città come Siracusa , Catania, Acitrezza.. :-)

Comodo e spazioso appartamento a due passi dalla spiaggia

Pro: Proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile, appartamento spazioso, a due passi dal mare e con una terrazza molto ampia. Appartamento accessoriato con tutto il necessario.

Contro: L'appartamento non è nuovissimo e gli impianti meriterebbero qualche ritocco/manutenzione (lo sciacquone ad es.), ma è comunque tutto dignitoso. Il tragitto per la spiaggia è in una situazione di parziale abbandono/degrado, ma non è un problema di competenza della struttura.

Pro: Abbiamo avuto il piacere di essere accolti nel B&B a fine aprile, quando la stagione turistica non è ancora iniziata. Intorno, in questo periodo, non ci sono ristoranti aperti, e quindi per mangiare siamo ritornati a Catania. Siamo certi che, a stagione turistica iniziata, il quartiere si anima. Anche quando non c'è nessuno, però, il posto è affascinante. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e accoglienti, molto simpatici e disponibili.

A hidden jewel with an immensely charming host.

Pro: Graziella is a supremely charming and generous host. To stay in her b&b is to be made to feel like a most privileged guest staying in a much-loved private family home. Magical surroundings, nothing but the sound of the sea and of nature; glorious inky black night skies and wonderful, clean sea air. What a glorious place to stay!

Pro: Beautiful property, right by the beach with full amenities in a gated community

Pro: Big spacious rooms and balcony.Everything was fine with the house,2 min walk distance from a sandy beach.

Contro: You definitely need a car for your stay because there is no restaurant or supermarket on a walking distance. The area around the house is not very clean and the whole Catania region is the same.

Pro: Wonderful apartment. A family could live there for extended period of time. Super clean, stylish and comfortable. The wrap around balcony is amazing. The host had thought of any item that any guest of any age might need and had provided them. I had a hard time finding the place, indeed going an hour in a circle using my GPS, ending at a huge iron gate. Calling the owners, in no time, a young energetic mobiles in their hand, armed with Google Translate pulled next to my car and took care of it. This metal gate opens not to community, but indeed to a section of the town, something I have never seen in my life. So when you get to the gate, you need to call them and they will open it for you.

Contro: There is very little that you could do, eat, shop..... in nearby

Clean and spacious villa.

Pro: The place was great. Very clean and spacious. We only stayed one night as we were catching a flight on the next day. The facilities and furniture were all of a very good standard, and the area was peaceful. It is right next to a beach which seemed favoured by locals and made no attempt to cater for tourists. There was a good supermarket a few km up the road, with eating places a bit further away.

Contro: The villa itself was excellent. We found the road to the place to be typical of many smaller roads in Sicily, it was strewn with rubbish. Could not see or smell it from the property. And the beach buildings and some of the local area was a bit tired. Again not the villa's fault and you simply walked past them to get to the beach.
