Very comfortable, no problems.

Pro: It's a very nice flat and the location is good. We parked free close to the apartment. There are two proper bathrooms. The kitchen is good but we didn't use it much, it's one corner of the large living room cum dining area cum hallway, which was very comfortable for shared activities. Plenty of room everywhere for four people (we were actually three). All equipment efficient and in good order, nicely decorated flat. We also got excellent tips for eating out locally.

Contro: Nothing at all about the flat. Traffic, five floors down, is rather noisy, but the soundproofing is good and noise from inside the building was minimal. If you have very sensitive hearing (like my wife) you probably use earplugs regularly anyway, and won't have a problem. In our experience big city accommodation doesn't really come any quieter.

Pro: Great central location with magnificent sea views. Even for our 20 month old baby very suitable and safe. Owner Gioacchino truly friendly and helpful. If we'll visit Catania again, Martiri Home will be definitely our choice always!

Pro: That the host met us at the apartment, had left u a few basic grocery items so we didn’t have to rush to the shops and was informative regarding places to eat and visit. He kept in touch during our stay and nothing was too much trouble.

An apartment that makes you feel like home

Pro: The photos available on bookings.com reflects the true picture of the current state of the apartment. All facilities mentioned were there. We were 4 adults and 2 kids and the apartment was very spacious for us 6. The beds and even the sofa bed was comfortable. We appreciated the basic things that were in the kitchen like coffee, tea, sugar, croissants, jams, nutella etc. The host is very welcoming too.

Catania is fantastic and this apartment made our stay perfect.

Pro: Everything is great in this property. It is a superb location for getting around Catania and the wider region. The view from the apartment balcony is breathtaking. We absolutely loved staying here.
