Un piacevole soggiorno

Pro: Appartamento accogliente, luminoso e pulito situato in una zona tranquilla. Proprietaria gentilissima e disponibile. Colazione abbondante. Vivamente consigliato.

We were looked after like friends or family.

Pro: We didn’t have to pick up the keys. The host collected us from the airport! The extraordinarily generous Valentina had left us so much food in the fridge and the cupboards we could have stayed at home for days. Milk. Butter. Eggs. Yoghurt. Drinks. Enough baked goods for a teenagers' party. She contacted us via WhatsApp before we even left Australia. And sent us lots of info in reply to tour queries. For our departure, she sorted out our bus to Palermo, then delivered us to the bus station.

Exceptional stay!

Pro: We loved our hostess. She was so warm and welcoming and went out of her way to explain things to us. A very plenty arrangement for breakfast was there. There are two balconies overlooking a beautiful park. The house has lovely paintings, beautiful mirrors, comfortable bed and linen. And the kitchen is amply equipped with all the utensils

Pro: The apartment is beautifully decorated and gives a unique feeling of typical Sicilian life. It is spacious and well equipped, it has everything you could possibly need. I like the location of the apartment, it is a bit away from the main attractions with crowds (2 km), but there are plenty of groceries, cafes, gelaterias, stores, restaurants within walking distance. The metro station is close, you'll get to the city center in just 10 minutes - couldn't be better! The airport is 20 minutes away. Valentina is a great host, hospitable and caring, always available for any questions or help with advices! I would recommend this apartment without a doubt!

Pro: We had a great stay at La Maison Blanche! The owner Valentina picked us up at the airport for a small fee and brought us to the apartment, where she explained everything. She also prepared a small snack for us! The apartment is well furnished, the kitchen has all household appliances you also have at home. Valentina was helpful with tips for sightseeing and answered all questions via WhatsApp promptly and ver kindly. Would definitely recommend!

Pro: A lovely apartment overlooking a park in the middle of the city. Paid parking conveniently located on 2 minutes walk away. The apartment is decorated beautifully and has all the facilities we needed for our four night stay. Plus it has windows, which many other places don’t seem to have. Located just outside the busy tourist area but lots of options for reasonably priced, authentic food. The laundry facilities were great, with an undercover line to hang laundry to dry. Valentina was a very helpful host. Was happy to help with whatever we needed. We would definitely stay again.

Feeling at home in Catania

Pro: It was very nice that the owner met us when we arrived and we got useful tips for shops and restaurants. The appatement is somewhat overly decorated but creating a beeing-home feeling. All the equipment needed is in place and when we arrived there were a lot of bisquits etc and in the the fridge there were yougurt, juice and eggs and more. Sicilian towns are busy and noisy but beeing high-up and overlooking either a calm inner-yard or a nearby park, the visit was relaxing. The metro-station Italia and airport buses are some five minutes walk away.

Contro: The second bedroom har two small and not very comfy beds but the owner said she thought about an upgrade.

Pro: The host took care that the guest would have the best experience and comfort. She also organised baby cot and additional parking. Thank you.
