A slice of paradise - a must go

Pro: What a slice of paradise! This villa is set in the most beautiful location and you will not be disappointed! The owners are so helpful and kind. There was wine and fruit on our arrival, and Salvatore sent us a list of recommended restaurants - we worked our way through them - make sure you do too, you will be glad of the info! Great places - all of them. If you’re wanting to climb Etna - ask Salvatore for a tour recommendation - we use Angelo from Sicilia Adventures and he truly made our day that day. The climb was UNREAL. Our teen lads loved it so much - best day of our holiday. We went to San Marco beach, I mentioned this to the lady of the house and the next thing I knew, a beach parasol was outside our front door to take! The pool is unbelievable - the lads loved coming back to this each day, all to ourselves! We visited Taormina - the car drive was easy in. We did take the train into Catania as driving can be a little crazy here. A car is a must This place is an absolute gem

Incredible views, wonderful hosts and the most beautiful accommodation and pool

Pro: The property and gardens are absolutely beautiful with plenty of space. There are two big balcony areas with a table and chairs on each perfect for sun or shade any time of the day. The view of Etna from one is exceptional, including far reaching semi-rural views over the countryside, and the other you can see the sea. The pool area is incredible, great loungers, inflatables supplied for the children, large pool with a proper deep end although sadly the diving board no longer there. Also a wonderful terrace with table and chairs with views to the sea. The hosts were wonderful - so hospitable and brought us many wonderful treats; fresh garden produce and home cooking. The children loved the tortoises in the garden and Billie the family dog.

Pro: Beautiful big villa with a big pool! From the balcony and from the pool, you can see the Etna and the sea. The family lives on the first floor, your accommodation is an appartement on the first floor. I The lady of the house super friendly!

Contro: The matrasses could be renewed.

Pro: We had a great family vacation. At the family council, it was decided to give the rating EXCELLENT. And I, of course, agree. We received everything that was indicated in the description, and even a little better than described :) - Recommendation to the owners :)) Just clarify (improve) some information in the description of the villa regarding accommodation. In fact, in reality it is better than in the description.

Contro: These are not shortcomings. These are just some tips :)) - If you want to sleep longer and are a light sleeper, sometimes cars pass on the nearby roads. It didn't bother us. But if you want complete silence, there are air conditioners, they work great and you can close the windows... - Think about your lunch time in advance :) from 16 to 19 everything is closed. Pro: Great location between Taormina and Etna, spotlessly clean, lovely friendly accommodating host who was always happy to chat and to share some wonderful cooking and fresh garden produce but completely respected our privacy. Big secluded swimming pool just for our use within a lovely backdrop of Etna. Spacious bedrooms and living areas, well equipped kitchen and 2 balconies. We had a hire car and visited Taormina on a few occasions which is approximately 25 minutes away. We also visited mount Etna which was about 30 minutes. The local villages and towns were all within 5-10 minutes away and had everything we needed (supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries etc)

Contro: We really liked everything about our stay here but it’s worth mentioning that a car is definitely needed, however everything you need is nearby. We visited in late October and the pool was a little chilly but not enough to put the kids off. I can imagine in warmer months it would be really lovely!

The ideal place to explore Etna and East Sicily.

Pro: Things we liked: - Host Salvatore waiting over five hours for our flight and car rental problems to be sorted. He collected us at 11:30pm. We are so grateful to him for that. - House was perfectly located and very close to all the places you should visit on the east coast of Catania. - Extremely clean house, with welcome snacks for my sons - thank you! - Outstanding swimming pool. Excellent cleanliness and temperature. Very popular with my boys. - Mount Etna erupting!! Everything advertised was exactly as the host described.

Contro: No real criticism at all - the place is perfect, but this was our 10th visit to Italy and we are used to having a bit more interaction with the host/family for good local food, places to go etc. I think previous guests had more interaction with Salvatore and Angela (from what the guestbook says) and we were hoping for the same; perhaps my noisy children put them off!

Pro: Der Pool war Klasse, 2 Balkone (Ausblick zum Meer und Ausblick zum Etna), die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hat uns auch einen Wein mitgegeben.
