Pro: La struttura è incantevole; i proprietari sono di una gentilezza squisita. Grazie a loro abbiamo trascorso una vacanza stupenda. Per lavoro e per vacanza viaggio spesso: posso dire di avere rarissimamente soggiornato meglio.

Pro: Such a great place to get out of the city and relax. 10mins walk to the supermarket (crossing a busy road). 15 mins taxi ride from the centre as we didn’t want to hire a car. Had full access of the garden, pool and annex. Our host could not have been any friendlier Grazi assai, Massimo!

A perfect Sicilian retreat
Pro: From the minute we arrived we could not have been so well looked after. The family are delightful.Massimo, the son , spoke a little English and took me to buy food the 1st day.Mama made a delicious cake! The home is an absolute retreat,the gardens oozing old times,history, the pool,so cooling. The annex where we stayed ,old,rustic,comfy.clean(yes a bit tired,but hey ho ) and perfect for a week if R n R. It has air con,washing machine,dishwasher washer,but I felt I was in a time warp. Absolutely recommend this beautiful home.It is on the edge of Catania, so an hourly bus(2e) takes you in to town.( we used taxis 25e). I would be happy just staying in the gardens all day ,every day. I will be back , to do Absolutely nothing but relax and recover! Thank you family .

Pro: Villa Rubino in Catania Sicily which is available to rent , is unique. The gardens are beautiful with quirky little areas to explore , several seating areas to catch the sun and a crystal blue pool . The bbq area was great for relaxing lunches. Twinkly lighting just about everywhere is so atmospheric. Birds sing in the surrounding trees so peaceful and beautiful little pots explode with colour . The owner was charming and we had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommended 👍🏼 #villarubino

Big beautiful villa
Pro: We enjoyed our stay at Villa Rubino. Massimo was very welcoming. We were only there for 3 days. Wish we could have stayed longer. The pool was so big you can swim laps. There were 2 bedrooms, one was very big. The yard was very big, there was a beautiful large outdoor table.
Contro: The place is beautiful but has not been updated or maintained well. It didn't seem very clean. There are 3 air conditioners, one in each bedroom and one in the dining/living room, but you can't use all 3 at the same time, or the breaker will shut off automatically

Pro: Beautiful house, gardens and pool. Very helpful host who responded quickly if there were any queries.
Contro: The local buses to get into the town centre were a bit unreliable, but this isn’t to do with the property directly.

Really enjoyed staying there and it was fine in view of the nature of our visit.
Pro: Spacious and vintage. Great swimming pool. Great hosts.
Contro: Seats and sitting areas in the grounds could have been cleaner.

Pro: Piękny, przestronny, klimatyczny ogród. Przyjazny, pomocny gospodarz. Wygodna lokalizacja, blisko do miasta i lotniska. Dużo kotów :) Wygodna kuchnia.

Awesome!
Pro: Bij aankomst voelden we de echte Italiaanse sfeer van ons verblijf al. We werden warm onthaalt door Massimo, de host, die ons ook al van te voren via whatsapp had benaderd. Zijn moeder had ook een heerlijke cake voor ons gebakken en het privé zwembad was top! Ontzettend mooi en groot zwembad in een goed onderhouden tuin! Het verblijf was ook heel comfortabel. De Lidl zit echt op steenworp afstand, waar je dagelijks vers brood kan halen. Ook dagtrips naar Taormina, Savoca en Etna lagen op 45-60 min afstand. Het centrum van Catania ligt op circa 15 min met de auto. Echt makkelijk te doen! Bij vertrek kregen we ook nog een, door Massimo’s moeder, handgeschilderde keramieken kom mee als aandenken. We hebben genoten van Catania en hopen weer terug te keren naar Villa Rubino!
