Aura Apartment

Pro: We really liked everything — the apartment is beautiful, and the host is very kind and helpful. Special thanks for allowing us to leave our luggage, it was very convenient for us.

Pro: Extremely clean, beautiful, new, and comfortable. Fully equipped with everything you need. Complimentary coffee and tea are provided. For an additional charge, beer, wine, champagne, soft drinks, and snacks are also available. The location is excellent—everything is within a 10-minute walk: the city center, the market, and the train station, from where you can travel to Taormina or Syracuse as well. Roberta was very kind, helpful, and always quick to respond. Thank you.

Contro: It is on the ground floor, so it’s a bit noisy from the street. However, it quiets down at night. There is no window; you can only open the entrance door if you would like to ventilate.

5*+ accomodation and a fantastic host

Pro: Roberta was incredibly friendly and welcoming - the communication before the stay was very easy so was the check in. Since I stayed for 2weeks she even cleaned the apartment and re-filled coffee and snacks during my stay. The location is great, just a 5-10min walk to the center. Also there are always (paid) parking spots available right in front of the place or around the block. The flat and also the kitchen is very well equipped, nothing was missing. Also there was a washing machine and a dryer which is very convenient. Even though there is no balcony or terrace (ground level) the air circulation is very good. I have stayed in so many places in Catania (because I come here frequently for work) but this is definitely one of my favorite ones. I will definitely come back anytime. 5*+ rating

Great would recommend

Pro: The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was on the ground floor but felt very secure. The frosted glass provided privacy. Comfortable beds. About a 10 minute walk to the cathedral and close to the train and bus stations. We travelled at the end of October and there were small autumnal decorations on the table which was a nice touch. Cookies left by the host 😊

Excellent Location, and the host communicated effectively.

Pro: The host conveyed information clearly, and the location was ideally situated near the train station and main attractions. It would have been nice to have shampoo and shower gel available. Upon our arrival, we found the kettle was not functioning, so we used a pot to boil water for tea. The host generously suggested buying a new kettle, but we politely turned down the offer.

Nice but noisy. Don’t stay here if you want to do washing

Pro: Nice, new and modern. Very clean and a short walk from the train station. We liked having a small kitchen

Contro: Noisy at night as it is right on the street. I booked this apartment as it had a washer and dryer. We are half way through our trip and were needing to wash our clothes. On arrival we were given a list of inclusions and informed it cost €30 to use it! Unbelievable. Who would pay that. It would be cheaper to buy some new clothes. I can only assume they charge that much to deter people from using it. I really don’t know why they were installed

Pro: Breakfast was not included, however, there were several cafe's/ in the vicinity. The apartment was in an ideal location for the bus/train station and by walking down Via Victoria Emanulle 2 it was possible to reach the Cathedral in 12 or so minutes. The apartment was modern and very well appointed including a functional kitchen, excellent bathroom and air conditioning. Two separate bathrooms and a washing machine/dryer, coffee machine and kettle made life much easier.

Pro: The property was new as well everything inside. It was clean and spacious. With natural light also. The bed was so comfortable and the apartment was decorated in details. The host spoiled us with some welcome gifts that we appreciated so much. Also they were so kind and helpful for everything, they made our stay pleasant and we felt like home.
