La finestra sul Castello

Pro: Posizione perfetta, davanti al castello Ursino, anche se temporaneamente chiuso, e a un passo da tutte le attrazioni in centro, oltre che da ristoranti, bar e persino una discoteca! La casa è pulita e accogliente, abbastanza spaziosa, con 3 camere doppie (una senza finestra ma, gli altri ambienti sono ben areati) cucina attrezzata e comoda, due bagni. Francesca gentilissima, è venuta incontro alle nostre richieste..Consigliatissimo

Contro: Due bagni ma 1 solo con doccia e 1 solo con bidet. In 4 siamo stati comunque bene... Un piccolo appunto: le prese elettriche non posizionate a fianco a ciascun posto letto, così come le lampade...

Vacanza bella e intensa

Pro: La gentilezza di Francesca è la prima qualità, ci ha accolto con gentilezza e consigli utili per la vacanza. La casa è spaziosa e adatta a 5 persone. I letti dono comodi e la pulizia è impeccabile. La struttura è vicina ai più importanti monumenti, le stazioni autobus e treni e soprattutto alle trattorie e ristoranti. Consiglio di abbandonare l'auto. Spero di tornare presto, Catania ha ancora tanto da vedere.

Charming apartment in central Catania

Pro: Wonderful location very close to the Duomo and market. Spacious and well equipped apartment. The host was helpful and responded quickly to questions.

Convenient base for a stay in Catania and a great view of a historical building

Pro: The location was good in relation to the bars and restaurants for a night out and a good base to look at the sites of the city too. The castle across the way was a very interesting view and was a good representation of the history throughout Sicily. The air conditioning kept the property cool.

Contro: We were not informed that we had to empty all the bottles of water that filled up due to the air conditioning units around the property, this could have been done by the owner when we arrived. For us from the UK this is not standard practice for us and was a new thing we were unaware of. Instead we were met with a bottle pouring over at he front door and a local man outside telling us to empty it! Once this happened we went round emptying all the others daily. Also the power kept blowing the trip switches and we were not aware on the first occasion this happened where the power switches were located for us to turn it back on. This too would have been handy to have been told where this was, instead of a panic!

Pro: Great location - the 1st floor balcony pulls you right into the buzzing central atmosphere, with a great view of the castle and a panorama of the piazza. All the facilities you expect, it's air conditioned, and most of all, the host was very nice, helpful and flexible at the end, really helping us out.

Contro: No issues. Just a useful note, the immediate area is a strict pedestrian zone between 1900 and 0700.

Pro: Super host. Was expecting us, Nice location. Near by the Ursino castle in the center. Comfortable house. We are family trip. We will come back soon. Thank you for the hospitality!

Superbra läge!

Pro: Jättebra läge vid slott Usino och med bara några kvarter till stora torget och fiskmarknaden. Sköna sängar med 3 sovrum och bra med 2 badrum när man är flera. Bra och tydlig info från värden.

Contro: Lite kyligt om man glömde stänga dörren till köket då det fanns en liten innergård mitt i lägenheten. Men det var inget problem.

A good flat for anyone who wants to experience the vibrant city of Catania.

Pro: Fantastic location just a couple of minutes walk from the fish market and the bustling town center. It's a perfect base camp for exploring the city and getting out and about. The flat was clean and our host had kindly left some things for breakfast on our first day which was appreciated.

Contro: Across the square outside, about 100 meters away, is an incredibly noisy restaurant where singers would perform very loudly until late at night. The air conditionning for two of the bedrooms was situated in the corridor so cooling them down took quite some time. Also, there is no louge area in the flat which was slightly disappointing.

Pro: Francesca trajo las llaves en persona y así nos conocimos, ella es muy servicial y responde rapidamente a cualquier cosa que le quisieramos decir

Contro: En la web pone que las habitaciones estan equipadas con baño privado y en realidad hay dos baños para tres habitaciones y una sola ducha para todos, esto es el único inconveniente. Tienen una bomba de agua que alguna vez dejó de funcionar, pero Francesca nos solucionó el problema rápidamente y no nos creó ningún inconveniente.
