Catania Charming House

Pro: L’appartamento è grande e spazioso, perfetto per gruppi e famiglie (noi eravamo 5). Molto pulito e equipaggiato con tutto ciò di cui si può avere bisogno. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e super disponibili. Il quartiere è tranquillo e silenzioso a 20’ a piedi dal centro.

Awesome apartment, I would stay there again.

Pro: Big apartment. We had five people and it was plenty of space. Awesome kitchen. Good A/C and Wifi. Great to have a lift because it's on the fourth floor and my elderly mother was staying with us. Also nice to have two bathrooms. Decent parking garage right around the corner.

Contro: We felt like the floors hadn't been cleaned very well, our feet got quite dirty walking around the apartment. Also, a bit of a walk to the touristy areas, but it's also nice to be in a quiet residential neighborhood.

Pro: The apartment is spacious, so everyone can have their own separate space. It was very good that there were two bathrooms, all rooms have air conditioning, and it was pleasant to spend evenings on the balcony. The location is very calm and quiet. There's private parking nearby, which allowed for convenient and worry-free parking in the evenings after exploring the island. We enjoyed our stay.

Contro: The apartment owner should warn guests in advance not to plug in all electrical appliances simultaneously, as it trips the circuit breakers, and you have to go down to the first floor to switch them back on. Not only the pillows, but also the duvets should have covers (they weren't provided)

Spacious nicely decorated Appartment with big terraces and lift

Pro: Incredibly spacious apartment with comfortable beds and close to the city centre. We were here as a family of 5 but it can easily accommodate 6-8 people. The lift was a nice surprise. Host was very responsive.

Great stay

Pro: Very spacious and clean apartment with great facilities. Having the extra toilet was a real help.

Pro: We cannot say enough about how fantastic this property is if you are to visit Catania. Location 150m from the bus stop from the airport. Location: Absolutely fantastic in that you can walk from the apartment to every area of interest. The Apartment: The best that we have had, spotlessly clean, superb sized rooms, tastefully decorated, great kitchen and dining and everything so well done not to mention that the balconies get sun all day………a fantastic place to have a holiday. Manuela advised so well on places to visit, we did most and the kindest thoughts were that we were allowed to enter 4 hours early and she said we could stay later if need be.

Contro: There are no downsides to this property, Manuela has prepared it so that you think she is a home designer………but oh so livealble

Pro: Location was easy walking distance of the city. The host was very helpful. The apartment was lovely, clean and comfortable, would stay here again.

Excellent and practical stay for a family in downtown Cattania

Pro: The location and checking in with the owner is excellent. The apartment was very spacious, clean and maintained. The location is within walking distance from any place in Catania and we even managed to park our rental car in the street with very little hassle. Would highly recommend staying there

Catania is a wonderful city to visit and the apartment a wonderful place to stay

Pro: The apartment is large, spacious and airy (perfect for four adults) with balconies that catch the morning and afternoon sun that are perfect for drying washing. The coffee machine is a great addition and it is very easy to get cheap pods from stores nearby. The location is perfect with everywhere you want to go in the city within a reasonable walking distance. There is very little street noise. My husband was very ill whilst in Catania and the hosts, Marco and Manuela, could not have been more helpful. I shall always be grateful to them for the rapid and practical assistance they gave in a time of great stress and anxiety.
