Consigliato

Pro: Posizione ottima, a pochi passi da piazza del Duomo. Accoglienti e disponibili i proprietari. Appartamento arredato con stile e dotato del giusto comfort.

Contro: Unico inconveniente le stanze a ridosso della strada trafficata in tutte le ore del giorno.

Il posto giusto

Pro: una casa siciliana rivisitata con grande gusto, una terrazza spettacolare tra piante grasse e fiori, spazi comuni che invitano alla socialità e proprietari fantastici e sempre presenti perché possiedono un piccolo e curioso negozio di oggetti artigianali siciliani (che solo questo merita di essere visitato)

Contro: la rete di un letto matrimoniale era più stretta rispetto al materasso sovrastante e dormendo si rischiava di scivolare a terra

I loved this delightful flat and would gladly stay there again. The charming host Giovanni could hardly have been more

Pro: Well located at the western edge of downtown, a short location from the cathedral square, this was an elegant apartment lovingly decorated and with plenty of space.

Contro: The only slightly downside was the smallness of the shower but that allowed space for a washing machine that was appreciated.

Apartment with great location and personality

Pro: This apartment is very comfortable and stylish, we appreciated great location and you don't get very much of the street noise, which is not that common in Catania. Our hosts greeted us personally and were super friendly. Cleanliness wise, the apartment was spotless. Beware of one thing, wi-fi signal doesn't reach the bathroom (which is a great thing, if you want to cut your screentime :)

Contro: One small detail, bedroom doors do not close 100%, so beware of that, e.g. if you stay with kids and want to put them to sleep.

Pro: polite and ready to assist, we asked for a change of room the first day in order to have a balcony in the street and they were kind enough to move the very next morning.

Contro: small balconies but thats typical of historical center of catania

Quite. Unique. Perfectly located.

Pro: Different from any other place. It has its character that makes this place unique. It’s really in the centre but beautifully quite.

Cozy like home

Pro: Antonio and Salvo were great hosts, the location amazing, the apartment felt like home. It was so cozy and nice. The feeling that you belonged to the house, to Catania, to Italy. Wish to come back there soon.

Contro: Everything was great

A perfect solace to stay for a few days to see the town

Pro: Good central location - about 15mins walk to the duomo- quiet at night - lovely terrace on roof - 2 small balconies off room. Kitchen was small but had a few nice touches - coffee, spices etc to see you through. Very friendly owner who was helpful and great communication . Well decorated - very arty style

Fabulous place to stay in CATANIA

Pro: This is a wonderful large one bedroom apartment in an absolutely PERFECT location in Catania. Everything you need and want to see is a quick walk away, the largest Piazza where many tour buses/vans pick you up is a 5 minute walk... (including the hop on/ hop off bus and many to Etna) Gorgeous area too. There are two large open markets very close, the main walking street with lots of shops and restaurants also a 5 minute walk away. The apartment is very art deco, very comfortable, with a beautiful outdoor private sitting area filled with plants. I sat out there everyday. There is a washer, and air con, and the bed is comfortable and your bedroom is very quiet even though the location is near everything. The owners are gems, both willing to help you at any time. My last day Giovanni called a taxi for me and also waited with me until it came. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Catania!
