Pro: Moderna, attrezzata con elettrodomestici di livello e molto spaziosa

Contro: La sconsiglio a chi ha scarsa mobilità perché deve fare tre piani a piedi e se ci sono valige pesanti diventa problematico.

A very special apartment, we’d love to return

Pro: The sense of space, period features mixed with clean modern design details, high ceilings, quality kitchen equipment, good lighting, terrace. The location is also very convenient. The hosts provided lots of helpful recommendations.

Contro: Not a don’t like as such, (especially as it’s outside of the control of the apartment )- just mentioning to manage expectations, the communal staircase is dilapidated but the sense of history and the wonderful apartment make it totally worth all the steps.

Beautiful apartment in central location but beware the stairs!

Pro: Very central location. Beautiful interior. Brand new & modern bathrooms and kitchen. Frescos and tiled floors mixed in with decor - very nice. Good darkness in bedrooms

Contro: All the stairs and the complicated pick up of keys from 2 separate locations - not what you need late at night.

Enjoyable stay at the center of Catanya

Pro: We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Marlene. If you don’t afraid of climbing up to the third floor (no elevator) then you are going to enjoy. The apartment set up in the center of town and close to everything. The host is super nice and assist with any questions or request. The apartment itself recently renovated and has everything you need for long or short sty.

Pro: Casa Marlene is a spacious and very clean apartment with 3 big bedrooms, kitchen with all appliances, 2 bathrooms, a nice dining room and a big balcony with table and umbrella for a morning coffee. For a groups of 6 this is the perfect place in Catania. The location is great - in a safe area, close to all attractions, also not far away from the central station and the bus station (15-20min by foot). Prior our stay we received all detailed instructions and also a lot of supporting information. Highly recommended apartment!

Contro: This is not for the apartment, just a side note for the city - very dirty and chaotic, difficult to drive and park , while there’s no good beaches nearby.

Jarní prázdniny

Pro: Krásný velký apartmán, kde každá ze 3 ložnic je na samostatném patře. Ve vybavení apartmánu nic nechybí, internet funguje velmi dobře (jen úplně v horní ložnici občas vypadnul). Lokalita je naprosto dokonalá pro pěší objevování Catanie - většina památek se nachází do 15 minut chůze. Obchody, bistra a restaurace jen pár kroků od ubytování.

Contro: Nic zásadního. Jen vyzvednutí klíčů je trošičku komplikovanější a vyšlápnutí 3 pater s kufry je celkem sportovní výkon.

Pro: Het appartement is heel ruim, modern ingericht en ligt heel centraal. De host was heel behulpzaam. Heel bijzonder was dat er zelfs een gitaar staat, onze zonen spelen gitaar en dat kwam goed van pas! Catania is een hele sfeervolle stad. En ook een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor dagtrips naar allerlei mooie plaatsen in de omgeving en natuurlijk de Etna.

Contro: De loopbrug naar de toegang van het appartement is niet geschikt voor mensen met hoogtevrees.

Pro: We stayed as a group of friends (6 people). The apartment is bright, big, distributed over 3 floors with a small terrace. Perfectly equipped, you can cook breakfast or dinner, there is plenty of space and beds were comfortable. Very convenient also for a longer stay, not only the weekend gateway. In a convenient location. All was really perfect, we enjoyed the stay.
